MindPalace is a team of tech-optimists working to liberate humanity from all constraints of digital life.

People are creating staggering amounts of data. By one estimate, the average person generates 1.7 MB of data per second. That data is dispersed across an average of 30 different apps. That overwhelming amount of data and its confusing fragmentation make it difficult to think, create and grow online and off.

So we’re building MindPalace, a high-resolution reflection of your digital self so you can live your life to its fullest potential. MindPalace arms you with a bespoke personal agent with realtime access to all your data (text messages, emails, notes, browsing history, listening habits, etc), helping you understand, explore, and derive value from all that makes you, you.

Our unique knowledge graph architecture enables your MindPalace to evolve, respond and act on your behalf with a deep understanding of the relationships and connections within your data.

We’ve built a powerful prototype with a handful of data integrations, a number that’s quickly growing. Our engineers are tirelessly working to integrate more data and more data sources, making those reflections higher resolution.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer who believes in our mission and our vision and will be, first and foremost, a true believer in our product.

• You will push us into new product design thinking. What hasn’t been tried yet? What makes most sense for our users? What will delight our users? What will make this product mind-blowing to use?
• You are very strong at product discovery - continuously looking to collaborate with the product manager and the engineers to come up with novel ways to solve users’ problems and make their lives better.
• Have a good understanding of UX (user experience, web, and mobile interaction patterns)
• Are able to discuss and present an in-depth knowledge of standard design principles: color, typography, layout, brand
• You have a genuine interest, curiosity and passion for making life more peaceful online, a yearning to live a more liberated life online and off, and a burning desire to create products that help people do that.
• You are optimistic about technology and its potential.
• Ideally you live in New York, but remote is an option, too.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process from concept to execution, including wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate closely with our Chief Product Officer and engineering team to ensure a unified and user-centric design approach.
• Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into elegant design solutions.
